The Nova Scotia Health Learning Institute for Health Care Providers is pleased to offer the following course from our RN Bridging/Re-Entry Program. This program will help nurses enhance their professional practice, meet regulatory body requirements or review content assessed on the national licensure examination.

Clinical Nursing Skills Course

Clinical Nursing Skills is designed to enhance nurse’s competence with various nursing interventions and psychomotor skills that they may encounter in Canadian practice settings. Participants will be expected to draw on the scientific knowledge base of the registered nurse to make appropriate clinical judgments regarding nursing skills. Best practice guidelines are used to ensure that the skills taught reflect current practice standards. Simulation and “hands on” practice are essential components of this course.
