Samantha McWilliams, BScN, MScN, RN, CNCC(c)

Samantha graduated from StFX in 2013 with her BScN and began her nursing career in the Vascular/General Surgery Intermediate Care Unit. She then moved on to Critical Care where she worked for the next four years. In 2019, Samantha completed her Masters of Science in Nursing Specializing in Education and in 2020, achieved her National Certification in Critical Care Nursing from the Canadian Nurses Association.

Samantha has been part of the RNPDC team since 2019. She is incredibly passionate about Critical Care and expanding the knowledge and skills of learners provincially seeking this level of education. Dedicating herself to life-long learning, Samantha enjoys the fast-pace in which Critical Care offers to the nursing profession and researching new and innovative approaches to delivering care to this patient population. Samantha further values the importance of simulation learning as a hand-on, interactive approach to deliver education and enjoys watching learners integrate new-found knowledge and skills into their practice.

In her spare time, Samantha enjoys running and being active outside with her husband and German Shepherd.
