Lisa Covey, BScN, RN
Lisa graduated from Dalhousie University School of Nursing in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Lisa spent half of her 30 years working in clinical practice areas including family practice, urology, inpatient and outpatient ophthalmology, and ENT. The remainder of her career has been focused on education, working as a clinical nurse educator with professional practice, coordinating core education programs for health care professionals at CDHA and most recently with the RNPDC, as faculty for the RN bridging Re-Entry Program.
Lisa believes strongly in the need to support nurses as they transition into practice and to promote life-long learning. When not busy working, Lisa enjoys being physically active, reading and spending time with her family.
