Becoming a RNPDC Preceptor

Are you interested in becoming a preceptor? Preceptors are always needed for RNPDC programs.

To qualify as a preceptor for one of our specialty programs, you must have at least one year of emergency, critical care, perioperative, or psychiatric mental health nursing experience. Preceptors for our RN Bridging/Re-Entry programs must have at least one year of relevant clinical experience. Completion of the Nova Scotia Preceptor Development Program (Foundational Workshop) is preferred, but not mandatory.

If you are interested in exploring preceptor opportunities and becoming a valuable member of our team, please contact your manager.

Being a preceptor for one of our learners is a truly rewarding experience. As an added incentive, active preceptors may qualify to receive free course materials and/or tuition support.
