Cathy Stevens, MSW, RSW, CPRP
For almost 30 years, Cathy has been a social worker in a variety of community development and mental health settings including Clubhouse, Intensive Case Management, and the NS Mental Health Court Program.
These experiences have enriched her practice and her teaching and facilitation skills, which she now shares through RN-PDC’s Mental Health Programs.
Cathy doesn’t shy away from challenge and continues to enjoy new opportunities to learn. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Saint Thomas University in 1985 and a Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University in 1988. She also has been a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner since 2003. In the summer months you will find Cathy camping with her family and rescue dogs, while in the colder months she enjoys the hot yoga studio and planning a winter escape down south.
