Re-Entry Program at RNPDC

Currently the RNPDC offers a program for Registered Nurses who do not have current practice hours and are required by a regulatory body (e.g., College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia) to complete a “refresher” or “re-entry” nursing program.

The RN Bridging/Re-Entry Program was developed by RNPDC and is a hybrid, distance entry-level educational program designed to review current nursing practice. Some courses are entirely online, while others are offered online with classroom sessions. A preceptored clinical is offered at the end of the program to assist learners in transferring theory to practice. The entire program can be completed in 10 to 12 months depending on the personal commitments of the learner. This program starts in September and January of each year.
